Manfred Lindinger applauds in FAZ (21.6.2006) the announcement of the winners of the robotic soccer world championship to publish their software's source code. Thus, anybody may learn from the algorithms of the winning teams. Open access and transparency is according to Lindinger the keystone to boost performance in robotics. Scientists and engineers are aiming at sending their robots on the field against humans by 2050.
